Erection All Risk (EAR)

This is a comprehensive insurance policy covering plant and machinery, equipment under erection on a turnkey basis right from the first day of arrival of project material at the site of erection, followed by storage of material, handling, erection and laying, transportation of project material with in site, pre-commissioning and commissioning of the entire project, integral testing and handing over as per the requirement of the supplier/ principal till such time the project is declared as commissioned, taken over and put into commercial use.

  • Tailor made to meet all critical requirements of the principal and erectors of the project, with important extensions like third party liability, surrounding property, and more.
  • Transit risk of incoming project material can also be covered under a separate marine transit policy.
  • Sum insured should consist of completely erected value of the project, the major components of which would be the cost of supply material (both imported & indigenous), cost of erection, permanent civil works, and escalation.
  • Issued on a long-term basis which will run seamlessly for the entire project period.
  • Settlement of loss done on RIV basis which is the physical reinstatement of damaged material and production of bills, invoices and all payment particulars to the repairer.
