Bharat Sookshma Udyam Suraksha Policy

• Business operations of manufacturing or production of goods, or of providing or rendering services, and
• Legal responsibility of own business, and
• Valuation of all insurable assets at one location does not exceed ₹ 5 Crore (Rupees Five Crore) at the Policy Commencement Date.

Note: Insurable assets include all owned assets, or held as tenant or occupant, or held in trust or commission, or are legally responsible for.

• If the value of all Insurable Assets exceeds ₹ 5 Crore (Rupees Five Crore) during the Policy Period, Bharat Sookshma Udyam Suraksha Policy will be replaced with the applicable policy on expiry of this policy.
• In case the Sum Insured associated with relevant Buildings, Plant and Machinery, Furniture, Fixture at the time of the damage Fittings, Stocks and other Contents is less than 85% of the value of Insurable Assets, the policyholder will be responsible for the difference and bear a proportionate share of the loss.
• Sum Insured for each item of Insured Property must be sufficient to pay for Reinstatement/Replacement of that Property (as on the date of loss).
